About

Eleazar Arreola (b. 1996) is a self-taught, Mexican illustrator, whose artwork further examines the literary themes present within established stories.

Through both digital and traditional means, Eleazar’s technical abilities celebrate soft, organic line work that simultaneously infuse aesthetics inspired by Japanese animation; frequently citing Kazuki Takahashi’s art style as a major influence.

Eleazar currently lives in Chicago, IL, where he, in addition to his freelance duties, commits time to teaching art for the Frida Community Organization. His work has been exhibited in group shows such as the Dope Art Show, and has garnered recognition from the likes of Hyun Jin Kim and Joseph Perez.
